VINCENT GENOVESE

        Vincent Genovese was born in Italy and moved to the U.S. in 1956. He worked for a major CPA firm in Philadelphia to later join Avis Rent-a-Car International in London, U.K. as Audit Manager for Europe, Africa and Middle East. At Avis for a total of eleven years, he assumed various assignments: General Manager, Israel based in Tel Aviv; Middle East Director, based in Athens, Greece; Vice President Operations, Europe, Africa and Middle East based in London. After having traveled extensively abroad, he returned to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to join Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC) as Vice President of Finance and Administration and was later promoted to Executive Vice President. AAC is a fully owned subsidiary of the Milan based Agusta S. p.a. which merged with the U.K.-based Westland Helicopters to form AgustaWestland, one of the world’s leaders in the helicopter industry. He visits Italy quarterly for management review meetings.

        Professional Activities and Memberships: He is a co-founder of the Philadelphia Italy America Chamber of Commerce, co-founder and first president, and now chairman of the Alliance of Italian American Associations, member of the Board of advisors of Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, as well as director and member of several other civic and social organizations.

Education: Mr. Genovese graduated from Temple University in Business Administration and has a CPA in Pennsylvania.
